A critical factor towards the adoption of Alternative Energy Source -  the most effective energy source or combination of energy sources to be adopted as the default energy source for the world in replacement of the fossil fuel energy sources: Coal Energy Source, Gasoline Energy Source, and Natural Gas Energy Source; and the Nuclear Energy Source - currently being explored is the ease of incorporating such technologies within legacy power generation technologies. A motivation for this factor of ensuring the corporate existence of the operating energy companies or power generation companies, is the need to have the citizen employees continue to be employed during and after the adoption of the alternative energy-source.

In effect, this factor requires that the alternative energy source adoption technologies be employed in retrofit-designs of legacy power generation systems with the object of supporting the existing power generation companies; and then determine from a detailed analysis of each such power generation system. This journal addresses such issues of complete energy systems based on such alternative energy sources undertaking the analysis of such systems from the deployment of the alternative energy source in concept retrofit-designs in legacy power systems through power generation up to the point of delivery to consumers - hence issues of the transmission infrastructures as well.
